Overview

When sixty-eight year old Sarah Miller moves into the Cunningham Village retirement community, she is mourning the loss of the husband, her young grandson, and the place that has been home for forty-two years. But Sarah is a survivor. As she reaches out into the retirement community that is to become home, she finds friends, activities, new hobbies, a possible love interest, and of course, crimes to solve and murderers to track down. In the eighth instalment of this fun, friendly series of cozy mysteries, a friend has gone missing, and Sarah is told to leave it to the professionals—but Sarah refuses to accept their assumptions about her friend’s identity.

Reviews

What a joy this book is. With each quilting themed saga I have enjoyed the mysteries and getting to know the characters. They are all about family, friendship and quilting. Missing Memories is a book that concerns Alzheimer sufferers. Sarah's friend Ruth goes missing and when the Police are called Sarah becomes more worried than usual. I loved the drama of this novel, the quilters are inspired by the Alzheimer Quilt convention and with Prison convicts, the FBI and fidget quilts, this intense read made a morning of reading quite fabulous. Of course all the books in the series include quilt instructions. The one that is shown on the cover of this book is exceptionally pretty. A fidget quilt that can be made and gifted to a loved one, made with love and serving a purpose makes it all the more special. -- Tracy Shephard * Postcard Reviews *
