Overview

This story is a biography novel. Even if I have tried to describe the life of Nannerl Mozart as truthfully as possible, not everything agrees with the historical sources. Some parts came from my imagination. So Hilde Pfeiffer is one of the few characters I came up with. Nannerl's best friend Katherl Gilowsky (historically proven) please forgive me for imputing an unwanted pregnancy to her. Both were important for the suspense of the novel. Franz Ippold's real name was Franz d'Ippold. To make it easier for you to read and for me to write, I left out the d'. Nannerl only mentioned Franz in her notes in 1779 for the first time. I allowed myself to let him show up earlier in her life. Otherwise the love story would have been too short.
