Overview"Laura ""Noodle"" Newman is finally back and more excited than ever to return for her second session at the one and only Camp Hillside. Joined by some old friends and some new ones, Noodle is ready for this to be the best summer ever. But when her best friend Aries only wants to work on the camp play rather than help Noodle with her radio show like they talked about, things start to turn a little sour and Noodle doesn't quite know how to deal with it. From an enigmatic and theatrical camp counselor to mishaps at the Rock-and-Bowl, there's one thing Camp Hillside never is-boring. Join Noodle and her friends as they navigate both the pitfalls and perks of growing up and learn that perhaps sometimes all you need when you're a little lost is a good friend to lean on." Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor Information"In third grade, Steph Katzovi announced that she was going to be an author when she grew up. After graduating law school and serving as a strategic communications consultant at Deloitte, it only took about two decades for Steph to follow through on her ""When I Grow Up"" essay. Today, Steph is a children's author focused on sharing the humor that is found in the uniquely tumultuous world of tweens. Steph is best known for her debut novel, Hurricamp!, the first story in the ""Camp Hillside"" series. The one constant that has endured throughout Steph's life and career is her desire to connect with others through wit, warmth, and wisdom. When she's not busy writing at her desk in New York City, Steph is a sports and exercise enthusiast. She also enjoys playing guitar and piano with her two sons, going out on date nights with her husband, and reading. Preferably poolside. Steph loves hearing from readers (of any age). Please visit her web-site at www.StephKatzovi.com. Brian Call has always loved to draw. He began his career in fifth grade when he was put into accelerated math, where he was expected to work on his own. He never did. Instead, he spent the time drawing, and sold his pictures to kids during lunch. Brian attended Ricks College where he furthered his love of art with a formal education in illustration. He later went on to study at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Brian now lives in Ammon, Idaho with his family, and works as a freelance illustrator and instructor at Brigham Young University-Idaho." Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
