Misadventures of a Sporting Life: One Man's Account of Blunders, Odd Occurrences, and Hair-Breadth Escapes

Overview

This collection of true stories recounts the author's lifetime of blunders, adventures, disasters, and hair-breadth escapes in his endeavors to find a sport in which he could excel, or at least not make an idiot of himself. These endeavors were unsuccessful. The stories are told with a humorous, self-deprecating style that is fun to read and is entirely justified by the facts.
