Overview

"When you've lived your life and die at a ripe old age, ""Resting in Peace"" should be mandatory. This was not the case for Isabelle Miller, who discovered that there was an actual afterlife. She set about looking for her missing husband. Did he leave her for another woman or was he taken by Aliens? Acting as a fly on the wall in her own home, Isabelle meets other spirits and realises that she isn't the only one that is haunting her loved ones. There is a whole load of family secrets that have been buried so deep that it threatens to tear not one, but two families apart. A gripping post-life thriller, with an aspect of 'northern realism' that brings Isabelle's family skeletons to the forefront. Where ""resting in peace"" will have to wait, while she sets about cleaning up the tragic mess that her family have left."

Author Information

"Kathy Mullin is a hardworking woman from Liverpool, UK. She has never described herself as a ""proper writer"" but, she enjoys telling her stories, and empowering others to write and embark on their own self-publishing journey. She would describe her humor as dry, sarcastic, usually inappropriate and not very ""lady like"". She swears a lot without even knowing it and is not one from holding back. She is a mum, a wife, a sister, a daughter, an aunty and a niece (not a nan yet). She has a complicated relationship with her mental health, and is not one to shy away from attempting to normalise the conversations around mental health. She herself having suffered depression for a good number of years but she takes solace in attempting creative hobbies to distract her from her own brains's inability in handle the God awful, hate filled human condition. I have a day job that I love, and my creative hobbies include dressmaking and singing, learning piano, and I want to learn drums (objections have been raised from other house members) Typos and eye rolling are likely"
