Diana York is from rural Missouri. She and husband John, home-schooled their daughters, Leah and Melissa, now grown. They have one grandson, Terry, and a Son-in-law, Scott. Diana has served in church work for many years in many capacities: Sunday-School teacher, church clerk, song-leader, small group leader, Vacation Bible School leader, etc. and has written skits and plays for various churches. She draws a comic-strip called 'Syd, The Barbarian' which ran for a few years in her local newspaper until she relocated. She has a church ministry called, 'The Widow's Might', in which women of the church volunteer to visit the Christian Widows in their midst. It is a non-profit ministry.
