Overview

Ministering as a Deacon looks at deacons as men, as models, as ministers, as managers, as messengers, as missionaries, as mentors, as multipliers, as motivators, and as mobilizers. This progression naturally takes us from being more than a good man. It takes us into the journey where we invest our lives for the kingdom of God to make an impact in the world by making disciples as Jesus commanded. If we take this ministry seriously, we will become more than men who hold an office in the church for a few years and rotate off of the active deacon board. We will be men who live at all times with purpose and direction who will strategically make a lasting spiritual impact upon our church and in the world.
