Table of ContentsReviewsmindfulness will help quieten fears about the future and be in the present * Southern FM * mindfulness will help quieten fears about the future and be in the present * Southern FM * I was interested to read this book as I had completed a Mindfulness course run by the author, Craig Hassed, via an online platform and was looking forward to refreshing and building on my knowledge for helping my casework. I enjoyed reading the book as there were many ah-ha moments while reading where I reflected on my own practice of mindfulness, the various topics throughout the book and how the information could be helpful to my practice. Mindfulness is a life skill we can all benefit from. There is much joy to be had in being more aware of what is going on in the present moment, in our head, our body and life around us. If you really look at and pay attention to, what you see, smell, hear, taste, think and feel then you are being mindful. This is a book well worth reading if you want to know more about mindful practices that can help everyday life challenges. -- Symantha Johnston * New Zealand Association of Counsellors Newsletter * Author InformationAssociate Professor Craig Hassed is an internationally recognised mindfulness expert.
