Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationWilliam Chandon, Ph.D., is a mental performance coach who trains athletes and coaches to reach their potential as competitors and people. He draws on his broad experience as an athlete in many sports in high school, college, and beyond. He has a doctoral degree in human and organizational development. For over thirty years, he has had a passion for understanding how the mind works. He studied philosophy as a Jesuit seminarian and learned about the power of thinking to transform lives. He learned that if people want to change lives, they have to change the way they think. To try to change the circumstances of lives without changing the thinking that lead to the circumstances is a formula for recreating the past. He has practiced meditation for over thirty years and continues to do so. He has participated in as many sports as he has had time for, including football, baseball, track, hockey, tennis, karate, soccer, tennis, wrestling, softball, and golf. He loves sports. He believes sports and life go together. Sports teach us about ourselves and life. He wrote Mind Games: Daily Meditations for Great Golf; Mind Games: Meditations for Great Coaches; Mind Games: Meditations for Great Putting; and Meditation for Active People. He co-wrote Smart Questions: Learn to Ask the Right Question to Get Powerful Results with Dr. Gerald Nadler. You can contact Dr. Chandon or find out more at www.williamchandon.com.
