Overview

Milton's Big Idea A Color Me Story Milton had a brilliant idea, so he thought. Everyone in the village liked his idea and immediately copied it. Just one skeptical little woman refused to follow the crowd. In the end, there are many lessons to be learned about jumping in too fast, judging people by how they look, standing strong in your beliefs, not giving up, and realizing that it's okay to fail. This is an interactive coloring book with very valuable lessons for all. Coloring the drawings while reading the story will help your child absorb the messages. The discussion pages near the back of the book will create some great conversations about these important topics.

Author Information

"This is Book #1 of ""Little Life Lessons"" by Carol Marie Figoni. When Carol's children were young, she started writing little stories to teach them life lessons. They are all grown now, so she decided to publish these stories for everyone to enjoy! Carol was born and raised in California. Her childhood was challenging due to severe speech problems and serious issues with her feet. She learned from a young age what it felt like to be bullied. This gave her great compassion for people from all walks of life. Her mother is a talented artist and her father was a brilliant engineer. Carol graduated from The Fashion Institute of Designing and Merchandising and worked as a fashion designer for many years. Carol has always had a desire to create, invent and try new things! Katielynn Remillard did the adorable illustrations for this book. She is a twenty-one-year-old talented artist who has always had a drive and passion for art. She graduated early from high school at age sixteen, because of bullying and found that art really helped her through the hard times. She has been drawing for over fifteen years and loves every opportunity that has come her way. She has done everything from simple line drawings to sculptures. Her biggest inspiration in life is her family and the support they have always given her."
