Such a fun story for tots and a joy for adults to read out loud! Engaging illustrations that made me and my granddaughter smile. Milo may have a rubbish roar but he's a winner! Highly recommended. An enticing book for children! Little ones will never be bored reading this book again and again as there are new things to spot on every page with the gorgeous, brightly coloured illustrations. I chose this rating as my 4 year old granddaughter sat listening to this story enthralled whereas normally she would have moved on to something else. She loved the illustrations too!! A wonderful story with a positive ending and beautifully illustrated . Would highly recommend. My little ones love this book. My 3 year old laughs at all the right moments thought out the story and my little girl who is 18 months roars at almost every page each time we read it What a lovely book! My 2 year old and her 4 year old cousin love it!! So much so we had to read it three times when it arrived! Great illustrations and really well written Enjoyed reading this book with my young children. We really loved it, beautifully illustrated too. What a great bedtime read for kids! I read it to my grandchildren and they loved it! The illustrations are appealing too! I have purchased an extra one to send to my god grandchildren in New Zealand Loved this book! My daughter who's six finds it hilarious and makes me read it over and over. What an amazing story of shifting perspectives and how the bumps and bruises we get along help shape who we are! What a delightful story! Nice bedtime book, our son loved it. Beautiful illustrations and excellent written story. My Kinder Class absolutely loved this book so much so they now ask me often for me to read at circle time. Great book! The kids love it, and it's funny to read with the rhymes. Brilliantly thought-out fun book for little ones! Illustrations are fab too! I have just purchased for my Pre-school and can't wait to share it!

Author Information

David E. Miles is a children's author living in the south-west of England with his wife, son, and dog. He has always written children's rhymes and poetry but for an audience of just one! A desire to see his work in print, saw David take the not-so-bold step of putting his work out to a wider audience. In addition to his children's books, David has also written for a very popular football fanzine for several years and has had some of his poetry published in various places. When he is not writing, David can be found spending time with his beloved family, watching his beloved football team, or playing his beloved golf.
