Maria Katarzyna Lasatowicz ist Professorin am Lehrstuhl für deutsche Sprache und Leiterin des Instituts für Germanistik an der Universität Opole. Der Schwerpunkt ihrer Forschung liegt in Sprachbiografien polnischer Einwohner in Oberschlesien und Sprachinseln. Andrea Rudolph ist Professorin am Lehrstuhl für deutsche Literatur und Kultur des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts am Institut für Germanistik der Universität Opole. Im Zentrum ihrer Forschung stehen die Literatur des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts sowie kulturelle Räume und deren Literaturen.
