Dr Esther Ngocha-Chaderopa is a higher-education leader, researcher, and editor whose work bridges academia, public policy, and community impact. She is the Associate Dean, Academic Programs at the Ikon Institute of Australia and holds a PhD in Management alongside advanced qualifications in commerce, business administration, management, and adult education. With an academic career beginning in New Zealand in 2014 and continuing in Australia from 2019, Dr Ngocha-Chaderopa has built a reputation for thought leadership in workforce development, migrant wellbeing, and organisational capability. Her government experience spans senior roles at the NSW Government Land and Housing Corporation, NSW Treasury, and the Australian Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, where she contributed to major policy initiatives and regulatory reform. As a researcher, Dr Ngocha-Chaderopa focuses on wellbeing, human resource practices, and the experiences of migrant care workers. She has been appointed as an expert member of the New Zealand National Kaiawhina Workforce Taskforce and serves as Board Secretary for the Waiariki Women’s Refuge. Dr Ngocha-Chaderopa’s editorial and scholarly contributions include leading interdisciplinary publications on migration, social innovation, aged-care quality, and workforce resilience. Her work reflects a commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices and advancing research that shapes policy, strengthens communities, and transforms frontline sectors.
