""This is a title that belongs in every school library, as a first step into emotional literacy and mental health awareness."" * Children's Books Ireland * ""This book is an excellent introduction to mindfulness for children."" * Irish Examiner * ""A valuable way to cultivate resilience and mindfulness.""  * Kirkus Reviews * ""This book does a nice job showing young readers how they can best accomplish their goals and stay positive through tried and true techniques."" * YA Books Central * ""This is not the first mindfulness book for kids I’ve encountered but it’s probably the nicest and the most picturesque ... A gorgeous book."" * Offaly Independent * ""Cute. I liked the illustrations and they way that the book was organized. The mindsets provided were helpful and written at an appropriate level. Explained for children, but also entertaining enough for an adult to read. I liked the real life examples of optimism, perseverance, and resilience."" * NetGalley Educator * ""As a mom with a child who is on the Autism Spectrum I am always looking for books to help guide me in teaching and helping my little ones ... I really love this guide. Written in a way children will understand and follow easily ... I love how detailed the book was in explaining everything you might need to know about being mindful."" * NetGalley Reviewer, 5 star review *

Author Information

Niamh Doyle is a writer living in the West of Ireland with her family. Mighty Mindsets is her first book and is informed by years of teaching experience in both mainstream and special education schools. Niamh has an abiding interest in wellbeing and in how our daily lives can improve with a little awareness of how our minds work. Carol Betera is an illustrator, teacher and potter. She grew up in London and has lived in Ireland for 40 years. When she was a child her favourite things to draw were cats, and frocks. Now she likes to draw almost anything, including aeroplanes, cranes, elephants, and insects. She has made lots of props for the theatre, and  would sometimes rummage in garbage dumps for useful things to turn into trees, flowers, birdcages or whatever was needed. Sometimes they worked out well and sometimes they didn’t, but each one was different, so she kept going.
