Him Working for the Kannon Ridge Rodeo Company was my chance to get out of a town that seemed to be moving on without me but as they say, the more things change - the more they stay the same. Here I am in a new town with a new job and yet, nothing is different. Cows are still cows, the job is still the job, and I'm pretty much living the same life just with new scenery. That is, until a beautiful, unexpected face keeps popping up everywhere I look. Now I'm navigating uncharted territory while we face massive changes, vandals, and challenges everywhere we look that threaten to unravel everything all over again. Her A sense of direction has never been a strength of mine so I'm purely winging it as I tiptoe outside of my tiny little comfort zone. But 'new me' isn't afraid. 'New me' goes for what she wants. 'New me' puts on her big girl pants and takes the scary steps - that somehow land me right back where I started. But before I know it, 'new me' is feeling an awful lot like 'old me' but still totally different? Whatever sense that makes. It's full speed ahead until the ground quite literally vanishes from beneath my feet and all I can do is hope he's holding on as tightly as I am.
