Hugh Fraser, an Earphones Award-winning narrator, is an English actor and theater director who is best known for his portrayal of Captain Hastings in the television series Agatha Christie's Poirot. He studied acting at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and is an associate tutor, director, and member of the audition panel at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, specializing in Shakespeare. David Suchet, famed as TV's Hercule Poirot, has starred with the RSC, on London's West End and on Broadway, winning four Olivier nominations and a Tony(R) nomination. He has starred in numerous films and is director of the Old Vic Theatre, and a member of the Trust Council of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Joan Hickson (1906-1998) was an actress who appeared on stage in several plays and in over seventy films.
