Overview

This volume is intended for scientists and engineers interested in knowing how microstructure affects mechanical properties in any of the various classes of titanium alloys, ranging from dilute alloys characterized by commercially pure grades, to alpha-beta alloys and those heavily alloyed with beta stabilizers. Recent developments in hydrogen effects on titanium alloys, as well as significant attention to those materials based on intermetallic phases, including composites, are also covered. This book is the published proceedings of the Harold Margolin Symposium on Microstructure/Property Relationships in Titanium Alloys held at the 1994 TMS Annual Meeting and Exhibition in San Francisco, California, February 27-March 3, 1994.
