This book, which evolved from classroom notes developed for three microprocessor courses taught at California State Poly University, presents the fundamental concepts of assembly language programming and system design for typical microprocessors, such as the Motorola MC 68000/MC 68020 and Intel Pentium. The author has chosen to emphasize the characteristics and principles common to typical microprocessors.
