Reviews

“…addresses a subject of vital importance to all human life regardless of global region. The authors report documented concentrations of microplastics found in drinking water, both tap and bottled water, across global regions… [and]… in agricultural soil as a function of depth due to sludge contamination across several countries. The authors conclude by presenting policy differences regarding restrictions on consumer plastic use and recycling from such regions as Southeast Asia to the European Union…. Summing Up: Recommended. Upper-division undergraduates, graduate students, researchers, and professionals.” —CHOICE, March 2025
