He received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Pondicherry Central University, India, in 2009, the Master’s degree in Power System from NERIST Deemed University, India, in 2012 and his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, China in 2019. He has also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University (ZJU), China, from 2019-2022. Deng Yan (SM IEEE) is currently a full Professor and head of the Research Group for Energy Network Transition (ReGENT) at the College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University, China. He got his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Electrical Engineering in 1994 and 2000 respectively from the College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University, China. His international experience includes serving as a Visiting Professor at the School of ECE, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, from 2007 to 2009. He held the position of Deputy Director at the Power Electronic Institute from 2006 to 2014 and served as Vice Dean of the Department of Applied Electronics from 2017 to 2022. Ramesh Bansal has more than 25 years of diversified experience of scholarship of teaching and learning, accreditation, research, industrial, and academic leadership in several countries. Currently he is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at University of Sharjah and extraordinary Professor at the University of Pretoria. Previously he was Professor and Group Head (Power) in the ECE Department at University of Pretoria (UP), South Africa. Prior to his appointment at UP, he was employed by the University of Queensland, Australia; University of the South Pacific, Fiji; and BITS Pilani, India. Praveen Kumar did his BTech from REC Hamirpur (now NIT Hamirpur) in electrical engineering in 1998, MTech from IIT Delhi in Energy Studies, and PhD from TU. Delft with a specialization in electrical machine design. Earlier, he was Team Leader of the Hybrid Systems group in Drive Trains Innovation BV, The Netherlands; Co-Founder of elmoCAD GmbH, Germany; Development Engineer at Trimeric GmbH, Germany and Durr AG, Germany.
