Dr P. Ponmurugan is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Botany at Bharathiar University, India. He has around 19 years of teaching and research experience, and has published 130 journal articles. He is the author of 21 text books on biotechnology, and acts as Reviewer and Associate Editor for the Journal of Genes, Genomes and Genomics and Genomics and Proteomics. He is a Fellow of the Indian Society for Biotechnology, the Indian Society for Technology Education, and the Nature Science Foundation.Dr J. Senthil Kumar, MSc, MPhil, SET, is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Sri Krishna Arts and Science College, India. He has authored 18 journal articles and two book chapters, and is the editor of two volumes.
