Reviews

This book presents an astonishing variety of micro- and nanobubble applications in various fields from a praxis-oriented viewpoint. Such information is usually still missing in textbooks and therefore may surprise many readers. The text is very interesting and inspiring. Prof. Adrian Schumpe, Technische Universitat Braunschweig, Germany Beginning with an overview of the most important hydrodynamics of microbubble formation and dispersion and leading over to state-of-the-art microbubble generators, this book presents an excellent introduction to the topic of modern micro-droplet generation and explains the most common simulation and measurement techniques. Enriched with a large number of academic, environmental, and economic case examples, it highlights the importance of micro-droplet generation and emulsification for modern society. Prof. Norbert Rabiger, University of Bremen, Germany
