Overview

Michael Jackson thrilled the world. Everyone stopped to listen and watch. His Thriller album and the accompanying videos set all kinds of records including being the only album to take in a billion dollars. No other album has even come close. This play tries to capture pertinent parts of his life in words. He was a performer in parts of five decades. It would be impossible to cover everything about him, but I have tried to convey enough about him here that the reader or viewer will come away with a feeling that they know Michael. At least probably more than they did before. I have included what I consider to be his finest five songs. These can be played in the original versions, or karaoke versions with the production providing the singer or singers. Naturally the dance tunes are best viewed with dancers. Michael was a very special person. Special gifts and special needs. He wasn't afraid to be eccentric. He lived his life the way he wanted to. Yes, he was a very special person.
