Table of ContentsReviews'A fascinating and varied work that is concise, stimulating and challenged my previous understanding. I highly recommend this book as it will develop your knowledge and develop your perceptions of events today. - Mr C. Kelly. 'The Neil Jordan film Michael Collins is mentioned in many of the essays included in this book, usually as a catalyst for the re-examination of both the revolutionary period from 1916 to 1921 and of the extraordinary contributions of Michael Collins. This is not a book for the beginner, but if you want to add to your knowledge of Michael Collins and of how this eventful period in Irish history has been viewed in Ireland, it is an excellent book which presents multiple viewpoints.' - P.
