Overview

Learn major lessons from the minor prophets in this engaging retelling of the book of Micah in storybook form.   Micah told God’s people three times to fear God’s judgement for sin but to hope in His faithful love. God says because the people’s sin has ruined the land, He will allow the Assyrians to destroy their towns. But one day God will rescue Israel from their enemies, and lead them back home to a place of perfect peace where everyone will thrive.   Brian Wright and John Brown show how Micah’s prophecy ultimately points to Jesus.   This minor prophet offers major lessons, teaching readers about reverence and inspiring hope, two aspects of the Christian life as essential today as when Micah first wrote.

Reviews

The God’s Daring Dozen series is made up of wonderful little books that will bless curious little people, and the not–so–little people who have the privilege of reading to them.  -- Tim Challies (Author, ‘Seasons of Sorrow’)  These are excellent. What a gift to children and the church. -- Bruce Waltke (Professor of Old Testament, Emeritus, Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando, Florida) Excellently written and artfully illustrated, these books are a treasure for young readers—and their parents. -- Stephen J. Nichols (President, Reformation Bible College, Sanford, Florida; author, ‘Track: A Student’s Guide to Apologetics’) Brian Wright and John Brown have done the church a great service with this children’s series. Each book faithfully summarizes the content of the prophet’s teaching and presents it in a way that is concise, clear, and easily understandable. -- J. Michael Thigpen (Professor of Old Testament, Phoenix Seminary, Scottsdale, Arizona) A tremendous resource for Christian families. -- Evangelical Times
