Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationMia Dickerson is an adoption advocate, nonprofit founder, and a believer in the power of ""forever families""-one of God's most beautiful gifts. Inspired by the steady faith and unwavering love of her mother, Margie Hampton, Mia learned early on that family is not defined by biology. Through Mia Bear Is Finally Home, she celebrates the beauty of adoption, not as a single moment but as a sacred journey rooted in patience, hope, trust, and unconditional love. Mia is dedicated to uplifting adoptive families and ensuring every child feels worthy, cherished, and secure. Above all, she hopes her stories remind children that home is not just where you live, but where love calls you. Margie Hampton was a pioneer in adoption advocacy and social work. In the 1980s, she founded one of the first adoption programs in Fairfax County, Virginia, focusing on placing children of color in loving, culturally aligned homes. Her compassion, leadership, and belief in every child's worth laid the foundation for the Enough Adoption Foundation, which Mia Dickerson established in 2025. Although she passed away in November 2003 after a battle with cancer, her legacy continues through her adult children's work - Mia's advocacy within the adoption community, Chadwick's impact in medicine, and Torrance's influence as an entrepreneur. Nadia Ronquillo is a children's book illustrator, visual development artist, and content creator from Ecuador. She majored in Graphic Design and Audiovisual Production.
