A translation of the Moravian Daily Texts in the ɓàsàa language of Cameroon for the year 2026, a special bilingual edition (Ɓàsàa and French) featuring Literacy in Cameroonian languages and Evangelism by Pierre Emmanuel Njock (PEN). Started since 1980, now the 45th edition in 2025, Mìntɔlɔ̂k mi Biɓàŋga, as a Translation of the Moravian Daily Texts, beholds a three-prong goal and vision: The daily reading of the Holy Scriptures in the ɓàsàa language (Devotional) Literacy in Cameroonian national languages starting with ɓàsàa Life Transformation through the Daily Reading of Holy Scriptures and the knowledge of Jesus-Christ as Lord and Savior. Initiée depuis 1980, et aujourd'hui la 46ème édition en 2026, qui est une édition spéciale bilingue (Bàsàa et Français), Mìntɔlɔ̂k mi Biɓàŋga, en tant que traduction des Paroles et Textes moraves, vise un triple objectif: 1. La lecture quotidienne des Saintes Écritures en langue ɓàsàa (Dévotion) 2. Alphabétisation dans les langues nationales camerounaises commençant par la langue ɓàsàa et 3. Transformation de vie par la lecture quotidienne des Saintes Écritures et la connaissance de Jésus-Christ comme Seigneur et Sauveur.

Author Information

Pierre Emmanuel NJOCK (PEN), the author and translator, was educated at the Evangelical Missions Institute, then later pursued Higher Studies in Heidelberg, Strasbourg, and Laval Universities, earning a Ph.D. in Linguistics.PEN has held various academic and administrative roles, including positions at Laval University, University of Yaoundé, and as Principal of the Evangelical College of Libamba. He co-founded CABTAL (Cameroon Bible Translation Association and Literacy) and was a member of the Wycliffe International Board. In 1995, he founded the Basaa Language Subcommittee (SCOBA) and became the first President of the Basaa Language Committee (COLBA) in 1998.PEN, l'auteur et traducteur a été formé à l'Institut des Missions Évangéliques, a ensuite poursuivi des études supérieures dans les universités de Heidelberg, de Strasbourg et de Laval, obtenant un doctorat en linguistique.PEN a occupé divers postes académiques et administratifs, notamment à l'Université Laval, à l'Université de Yaoundé et en tant que directeur du Collège évangélique de Libamba (CEL). Il a cofondé la CABTAL (Cameroon Bible Translation Association and Literacy) et a été membre du conseil d'administration de Wycliffe International. En 1995, il fonde le Sous-Comité de Langue Ɓàsàa (SCOBA) et devient le premier président du Comité de Langue Ɓàsàa (COLBA) en 1998.
