He has written numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the Biophysical Society and Biomedical Engineering Student Chapter. Dr. Nahmias holds a B.Sc. in chemical engineering from the Technion -- Israel Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from the University of Minneosota. Sangeeta Bhatia is a professor in the Department of Health Sciences and Technology, as well as the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, at MIT. She is also the director of the Laboratory for Multiscale Regenerative Technologies. Dr. Bhatia holds an M.D. from Harvard Medical School and a Ph.D. in medical engineering from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology.
