Author Information

Tim Maguire works at a startup company, where he is pursuing the creation of in vitro drug screening systems, integrating optimized human hepatocyte cultures with microfluidic systems. He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering and a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, both from Rutgers University. Eric Novik works at a startup company and is involved in all aspects of development and commercialization of patented microfluidic, cell-based platforms for use in drug discovery and development, consumer and industrial product testing, and related fields. He holds a B.S. and a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from Rutgers University.
