Overview

synopsis My father always had a feeling that the Himalayas were calling him. He left the army and was serving in a post office. He initially started as a postman on a bicycle. He used to stay with his friend at Santacruj, on the Western line of the Mumbai, while we stayed at home in the Himalayas. His friend used to recite chapters from the Bhagavad-Gita, but I gave it a new name: The Metaphysical Art of War. One, morning my father's friend was reciting the chapters of Bhagavad-Gita and he got lost in those hymns, but continued reciting them. The day went on passing and it was evening when he realized that he had been reading all day. He got up from his cross-legged posture and was astonished at how that had happened. My father came to his house late in the evening and found his friend disturbed by the morning. The friend went to his office and told his supervisor that he couldn't come yesterday. The supervisor said, Have you gone mad? This same friend met my father the other day and said, If the Lord or power takes care of all, why should I waste my time in these mundane activities and he left the mundane world, knowing the truth, and he never came back. Book includes practical Kriya yoga techniques and philosophy as taught by Lord Krishna.
