Dr. Radhakrishnan E.K is currently working as Associate Professor at School of Biosciences of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and as Hon. Director of Business Innovation and Incubation Centre (BIIC), also as Joint Director of Inter University Centre for Organic Farming and Sustainable Agriculture (IUCOFSA). In addition, he is also the Hon. Director of Dr. N. Radhakrishnan Foundation for Medical Innovation (NRICMI) and Hon. Director of Industry Academia Interface Centre (IAIC). He completed his doctoral degree from Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, in 2008 and post-doctoral studies from The University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2010. During his 13 years of research, he has published more than 150 research articles, 55 book chapters, 3 review papers, and edited 10 books. Recently, he has been listed as top 2% of scientists according to the Stanford University, USA and Elsevier, the Netherlands database published in September 2022. He has also been selected for Kairali Gaveshana Puraskaram by the Kerala Higher Education Council, Govt. of Kerala in 2022. So far, 14 PhDs have been completed under his guidance. He has the credit of 4 filed patents and 2 technology transfer. His team successfully launched an agriproduct in the market under the brand name “Nanopower” in 2022 in collaboration with ABTEC, Pvt, Ltd, Kottayam. His research areas include plant microbe interactions, microbial natural products, microbial synthesis of metal nanoparticles, antimicrobial resistance gene prediction and development of polymer-based nanocomposites with antimicrobial effects for food packaging and medical applications. Dr. Riju K Thomas is an Assistant Professor Bharata Mata College, Thrikakkara, Kerala, India. He received his M.Phil. (2013) from Kerala university from department of Optoelectronics and Ph.D. (2019) degree in Physics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. His research interests are in the interaction of drugs functionalized nanoparticles with biomolecules and their therapeutic applications. He is also expertise in bio molecular sensing applications based on functionalized metal nanoparticles. Dr. Divya N. G. is an Assistant professor, Bharata Mata College, Thrikakkara, Kerala, India. She received her M.Phil. (2015) and Ph.D. (2020) degrees in Physics from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kerala, India. Her research expertise and interests include nanocomposite devices including sensors/detectors, especially electrochemical sensors and photovoltaic cells based on metal oxide semiconductor nanostructures.
