Today Jackie walks alongside other mothers affected by their child's suicide, guiding them not only to persevere but also to find renewed hope, personal growth, and meaning amidst their loss. Residing in Washington state's Pacific Northwest, Jackie is a pediatric nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Washington and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. She and her husband Steve have been married for over 35 years, and they have two children: a married daughter living in Arizona and a son living in heaven.
