Jazmin Begum Kennedy (JBK) is a 'Professional Housewife.' By day she is a mother, wife and teacher; by night she fights oppression and writes books! JBK is a retired primary and secondary school teacher; she is also an acclaimed professional artist (JBK Arts) and published author of Mercy Like the Raindrops, Blessed Bees, No School Today? and the upcoming novel, Fifteen. Furthermore, JBK is an online counsellor specialising in domestic violence, rape and child abuse. She was the co-founder of the UK based charity Care for Children; helping children worldwide with the necessities of life. She is now the co-founder of the Nisa Foundation, working as a women's aid worker for victims of domestic violence. JBK currently home educates her 3 children full time whilst developing Islamic based curriculums for teachers, parents and homeschoolers. She also manages a support network for home educators in the Greater Manchester area.
