Table of ContentsReviews"""Mercy for All argues chronologically, textually, and persuasively that Romans 9-11 fits within Paul's acceptance of the Jewish covenant and the redemption of the Jewish people as Israel. Anderson carefully works through historical trends in locating the heart of Paul's thought and allows Paul's voice to shine through."" --Ron C. Fay, adjunct professor of New Testament, Liberty University ""In recent years, scholars have been rediscovering just how Jewish Paul remained even after he began to follow Jesus as Lord. Robert Anderson offers a clear picture of where studies of this topic have come from, where many of them are today, and one possible way forward in positioning Paul on a spectrum of first-century Jewish views. Whether you agree with all of Anderson's interpretations of specific texts, this book will give you a good sense of the diversity of the Judaism of Paul's world, the complexity of Paul's concern for his people, and a missional approach for Christian witness in today's world."" --Craig L. Blomberg, distinguished professor emeritus of New Testament, Denver Seminary" """Mercy for All argues chronologically, textually, and persuasively that Romans 9-11 fits within Paul's acceptance of the Jewish covenant and the redemption of the Jewish people as Israel.
