Overview

Kevin De'Michaels, who is better known as K.D. in the wicked streets of Sarasota, Fl, keeps it loyal to his best friend Hood by killing the key witnesses who are set to testify against him in court. When relatives of the deceased victims are not happy about the brutal murder, they keep it in the streets and began playing by the street's rules. After Hood is released from jail, he is faced with more enemies who become a bigger threat to K.D. and their crew than him. When K.D.'s close friend becomes the first fatal victim, a street war ignites and bodies turn up all over the city. K.D. snaps into reality after he comes close to death, but will he be man enough to put the streets behind him and take care of his pregnant girlfriend Alexis?

About Ron C. My real name is LaRon Coleman. I was born in Meridian, Mississippi and grew up in the small town of Butler, Alabama. I moved to South Sarasota, Florida when I was a teenager, and now I currently live in Huntsville, Alabama. I started reading novels by the late Donald Goines about 8 years ago and I fell in love with urban literature. I could relate to the stories so well because the things that were being talked about, I had either done or seen. I sat down one day and decide to give my hand a try at writing and came up with a story entitled 'Mentality', which basically paints a picture of the black youth today, racism, crooked cops and the criminal justice system. As I was writing 'My Family in Exchange For Yours' story I realized I had a gift and writing became a passion. Before I knew it, 'Mentality' was a trilogy. I began writing on a daily and was writing a book ever 30 days. I truly love to write and it is something that I am going to continue. Mentality 2 will be my next release.
