"""Mental Toughness for Athletes"" is a must-read for athletes of all ages. As a former NFL player, the strategies and examples of dealing with both success and adversity outlined by AJ Kikumoto were critical in my athletic career and beyond. I highly recommend this book to any athlete or parent looking to sharpen their mental edge. - Jason Kaiser, DC, CSCS (Former professional athlete) One of my favorite takeaways is about the winner's growth mindset. Once I had gained some traction in my powerlifting career, I felt I knew more than many, and I wasn't receptive to coaching from my peers, who were often at levels I aspired to reach. After reading ""Mental Toughness for Athletes,"" I realized I only hindered myself by resisting coaching. I have made incredible progress in my performance after implementing the steps outlined in this book! -Marshelle Johnston, CEO of MJFIT, ""inspiring women to be strong"" Mom Approved!! The strategies in ""Mental Toughness For Athletes"" are SPOT-ON!!! My boys will apply these in sports and, more importantly, in everyday life!! This book is a must-have!! -Michelle Barnes Global Entrepreneur, Thought Leader & Transformational Speaker ""MENTAL TOUGHNESS FOR ATHLETES"" is a quick read with great TIPS for athletes! Applicable resources not only to apply in athletes' individual sports but their lives! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Angela M. Ottmann/Colorado Spirit Coaches Association 2 thumbs up This is a great read for any parent hoping to encourage, motivate, and support their child on the road to becoming the best athlete they can be! -Amber Rasco Mom to a college soccer player at Colorado School of Mines As a mother of an almost double-digit son, it is important to touch on mentality and sports. This book and workbook share true techniques that should begin early; as they say, the early bird gets the worm. - April Lynch. Mrs Pageantry, Momager ""I am very impressed with AJ Kikumoto's book! It is easy to read, and it is inspiring! I love that she shared authentically about her own experience and the experience of her kids. I give AJ huge credit for being a momma of 6 children, running her business, supporting her kids with their activities, and allowing them to unleash their full potential. This book will definitely help a lot of athletes because it includes a piece of valuable information on the aspect of our mindset, body connection, and nutrition."" - Yelena Foster"
