Overview

Mark Ingersol, a stock broker who keeps a diary and is able to converse in mental telepathy is separated from his wife, Sandra, as she has had a heart transplant causing massive personality changes in her. After Mark's marriage comes apart he meets and falls madly in love with Lauren Morgan, also a stock broker and able to converse in mental telepathy. They progress to him moving into her apartment, with both having a drinking problem. Mark is fi red from his company from too much drinking. He and Lauren have terrible arguments and she calls the police for help. Mark is sent to Rikers Island prison for 20 days. Mark leaves prison, stops drinking and begins attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, and still pursues Lauren despite another man entering her life. Will Mark get his life back together with the help of the tides of fate?

Author Information

Born in Montreal, Canada, the author did a lot of swimming when he was young, winning the Montreal 1 mile Open Swimming race in 1940. He graduated from Kingston College and was in the Canadian Army for 6 years in World War II. While on the way to England during the battle of Britain a ship he was on with over 1,000 soldiers was torpedoed causing the deaths of 75% of all on board. He served in Ireland, England, Wales, Scotland, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Sicily, Italy, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. After getting out of the Army he moved to and lived in New York City for over 50 years, in which he was a Controller at Tectonic Environment for 18 years and with an Architectural firm for 19 years. Having acquired the writing bug he turned his hand to writing and moved to Glens Falls, NY where he continued to work on a book of his days in World War II and Mental Telepathy A air Diary or Tides of Fate.
