She co-edited Monastic Europe: Medieval Communities, Landscapes, and Settlements (Brepols, 2019). She is now preparing a monograph titled Image and Identity: Franciscan Ideologies in Medieval Ireland. Dr Anne-Julie Lafaye is a medieval archaeologist and architectural historian interested in the art, architecture and landscapes of monastic and mendicant orders in medieval Europe.
