Author Information

Andrew Cole has spent the majority of his working life in sales and sales management, in the FMCG sector. Working for a range of multi-national companies both directly and indirectly, these include: Rowntree Mackintosh, Timex, Seagram, Proctor and Gamble and for the last ten years McCurrach on behalf of Pepsico. He retired two years ago. Like many he has experienced the vacillations of life and his own particular salvation was graduating at the Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford from Westminster College, in the early 1990s after completing a mid-life degree in Theology. From here he spent ten years in the bookmaking industry, most of which was in Gibraltar working for a progressive bookmaking company as Head of Horse Racing Trading. It is the period after leaving that role that this story relates to. He has two daughters both teachers in their own specialist fields and two young grandchildren, all living in Queensland, Australia, while he and his life partner Lin live a happy retired life in Oxfordshire, England.
