Also mentioned are the excellent relations with the local Thai people, whose country is still our Nation's great friend to this day. I found Support Troops to be a well written, involving history of the important duties of USAF ground crews - of which, comparatively, little is written - and virtually no one hears about. Yet, without our ground crews, our aviators would just be pedestrians.
