OverviewMemoirs of a Domestic Terrorist is a not-so-subtle allegory condemning United States foreign policy in the Middle East. Set on a different planet many years in the future, the backdrop is very plainly America by a different name. The story follows a young man named Adam, a direct descendent of one of his nation's Founding Fathers, as well as the grandson of the founder and CEO of its premier weapons company. The story picks up when Adam's father, the family's black sheep, is discredited and arrested for treason in retaliation by the Deep State for his role in guiding a populist upstart to the presidency and for advocating anti-war policy. When Adam is arrested in connection to his father's alleged crime, he is forced to flee for his life. He soon finds himself on a journey that will take him to the Middle East where he must confront his family's true legacy and the wars that have made his grandfather billions.
