Author Information

Dr. Scott McLean has a PhD in British history and has lectured and written on a wide-range of topics. After a 20 year career in Academia he launched a history-based company called Explore History, which provides a variety of services, including research and writing, tutoring, lectures, and on-line resources such as an on-line archives and podcasts. He is particularly interested in the use of primary source materials and when not in his shop spends much of his time frequenting markets, fairs, and auction houses in pursuit of historical gems.
