Ranjana Das completed her Ph.D in Chemical Technology from Calcutta University in 2009 and presently associated with Chemical Engineering Department as Associate Professor. She is Life member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineering, Oil Technologists’ Association of India and Life member of Indian Science Congress Association. Presently she is acting as Project Investigator of two National projects. Her Research interest is in membrane separation process, solid waste and waste water treatment, nanomaterial synthesis and application. Chiranjib Bhattacharjee is serving in the faculty position at Chemical Engineering Department, Jadavpur University for 30 years, and presently acting as Pro Vice Chancellor of Jadavpur University. He is also acting as President of West Bengal council of Higher Secondary Education from 16th August 2021 on. Prof. Bhattacharjee has delivered many invited lectures at different places at National & International levels. He was involved in collaborative research with University of Montpellier, France and University of Melbourne, Australia. He was also involved in Indo-Korean, as well as in European Union (EU) sponsored project as Principal Investigator/ Coordinator. He is involved in several project activities as Principal Investigator/ Coordinator, funded by AICTE, DST, DBT, and UGC. He has more than 10 awards to his credit. He is life member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, The Institution of Engineers (India) and Indian Science Congress Association. His research interest is in Environmental Remediation, Bioremediation and advanced separation techniques, waste utilization and management, recovery of value from waste. Dr. Maulin P. Shah is an active researcher and microbial biotechnologist with diverse research interest. His primary interest is the environment, the quality of our living resources and the ways that bacteria can help to manage and degrade toxic wastes and restore environmental health. Consequently, His work has been focused to assess the impact of industrial pollution on microbial diversity of wastewater following cultivation dependant and cultivation independent analysis.
