Overview

Megan Evans is a thirteen year-old girl with psychic powers, who lives in a family, which doesn't believe in them. However, she knows they exist and hangs on to them, because of the constant support she receives from her companion and familiar - a huge Siberian tiger called Grrr - no matter how hard her mother and grandmother try to convince her that it is all her childish imagination The five stories in 'Megan the Psychic Teenager' tell how she looks desperately for someone to teach her what her powers are for and how to use them. When she does eventually get some help, it is from Beyond in the form of a Spirit Guide, Wacinhinsha, her dead grandfather, Gramps, and their friends. "Author Owen Jones, from Barry, South Wales, came to writing novels relatively recently, although he has been writing all his adult life. He has lived and worked in several countries and travelled in many, many more. He speaks, or has spoken, seven languages fluently and is currently learning Thai, since he lives in Thailand with his Thai wife of ten years. ""It has never taken me long to learn a language,"" he says, ""but Thai bears no relationship to any other language I have ever studied before."" When asked about his style of writing, he said, ""I'm a Celt, and we are Romantic. I believe in reincarnation and lots more besides in that vein.
