Every family has its secrets and Sandy's is no different. At his uncle's funeral in the small Cypriot village of Bamyaköy, Sandy discovers that he has a half-sister, Defne, and that his long dead and idolised Turkish Cypriot father, Zeki Aziz, had cheated on his mother months before he was born.
