Maximilian Locher ist Soziologe und arbeitet als Tarifsekretär in der Bezirksleitung der IG Metall Baden-Württemberg. Er hat Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der Zeppelin Universität und Organisation und Ethik an der Universität Witten/Herdecke studiert, wo er anschließend als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Kulturtheorie und Management tätig war. Parallel dazu war Maximilian Locher über viele Jahre als Berater in einer Organisationsberatung aktiv.
