Davis conducts federally funded research to develop and evaluate novel treatments for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), including meditation and yoga. She is certified by the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School as a mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) teacher. Davis is also a certified provider and trainer for cognitive-behavioral couples therapy for PTSD and currently provides consultation to VA clinicians nationwide who are being trained to provide this treatment.
