Dr. B.O. Satyanarayana Reddy is a retired Associate Professor of English, Veerashaiva College, Ballari, Karnataka. He has edited and published a critical work on Indian women novelists entitled In Quest of New Horizons. He has been honoured with Basava Siri award for his best service in translating kannada vachanas into English named Modern vachanas of Nishty. His other publications are: Indian Woman - A Cross-Cultural Victim in Shashi Deshpande's Fiction, (Ph.D. thesis), Abstract Birds, a collection of poems in English and Akshara Nakshatralu, a collection of Telugu Poems.
