Author InformationJoan Koss-Chioino is Professor of Anthropology and affiliate of the Women's Studies Department at Arizona State University. She is also Visiting Professor of Psychiatry and Neurology at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, Research Professor of Psychology at George Washington University, and author of Women as Healers, Women as Patients (1992) and Working with Latino Youth (1999).
