This epic work is the most comprehensive and up-to-date medical text related to the use of countermeasures for biological agents in warfare and terrrorism. . . . The addition of chapters dealing with biosecurity, legal issues of biological research, and consideration for strategic threats from emerging infectious diseases serve to broaden the appeal of this text well beyond the military community. . . .
